4. How We Process Your Videos
4.1 Video Processing
When you upload a video, we:
- Store it securely in Supabase Storage (encrypted at rest)
- Extract audio and send to OpenAI Whisper API for transcription
- Send transcripts to AI models (OpenAI GPT-4) for analysis
- Generate clip suggestions based on viral potential
- Extract video segments using FFmpeg on our servers
4.2 Third-Party AI Services
We use OpenAI's services for transcription and analysis. OpenAI's data processing is governed by their Privacy Policy and API Data Usage Policies.
Important: As of March 1, 2023, OpenAI does not use API data to train their models. Your content remains private.
5. Data Storage and Security
- Storage: Videos stored in Supabase (AWS infrastructure)
- Encryption: Data encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest
- Access Control: Role-based access, you can only see your own content
- Backups: Regular automated backups
- Retention: Videos and clips stored until you delete them
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:
- Service Providers: Supabase (storage), OpenAI (AI processing), Vercel (hosting)
- Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights

8. Data Deletion
You can delete individual videos, clips, or your entire account at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion:
- Videos and clips are immediately removed from storage
- Transcriptions and metadata are deleted from our database
- Account data is anonymized within 30 days
9. Children's Privacy
ClipFarm is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.
10. International Users
Our services are hosted in the United States. By using ClipFarm, you consent to the transfer of your information to the US.
